VMware Certified Advanced Professional - Network Virtualization 2020 (VCAP-NV 2020) Certification Path
- If a person doesn't have any VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) certifications then he/she must have to earn the VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization Design 2020 (VCP-NV 2020) certification before. A person already certified in VCP-NV 2019 is eligible to appear in the exam. It is also recommended that he/she should attend the training course: VMware NSX-T Data Center Design before appearing in the exam. Then he/she has to pass one of the Advanced VMware Design NSX-T Data Center exams to get the VCAP-NV 2020.
- If a person holds VCAP-NV Design 2019 or VMware Certified Implementation Expert - Network Virtualization (VCIX-NV) 2019, then he has two options either attend one of the training courses in 2020 or pass one of the Advanced VMware Design NSX-T Data Center exams to get the VCAP-NV 2020.
- If a person holds any of the following certifications: a VCAP6-CMA Design-Deploy or Newer OR VCAP6-DTM Design-Deploy or Newer OR VCAP6-DCV Deploy or Newer or VCAP6-DCV Design or Newer have to earn the VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization Design 2020 (VCP-NV 2020) certification before. It is also recommended that he/she should attend the training course: VMware NSX-T Data Center Design before appearing in the exam. Then he/she has to pass one of the Advanced VMware Design NSX-T Data Center exams to get the VCAP-NV 2020.
- If a VMware Certified Advanced Professional wants to appear for the Advanced Design NSX-T Data Center 2.4 exam, he/she has to gain experience in the NSX technologies. VMware NSX is a network virtualization platform that allows virtual networks to be implemented on physical networks. He/she have to submit the proof of his active VMware certification.
