To be eligible to take the NSCA CSCS Exam, candidates must have a bachelor's degree or currently be enrolled in their final year of a bachelor's degree program. They must also hold a current CPR and AED certification. CSCS exam consists of two sections: a scientific foundations section and a practical/applied section. The scientific foundations section covers topics such as exercise science, nutrition, and anatomy, while the practical/applied section covers topics such as program design, exercise technique, and testing and evaluation.
